Our Location

We are located in the middle of Cologne, between Neumarkt and Rudolfplatz. The Schildergasse (the most popular shopping street in Europe) is only 5 minutes away, and the Cathedral is about 20 minutes away by foot.

By Car

Cologne is not well-known for being the most car-friendly city, but most navigation systems will find us. Underneath we have more details on how one can reach us by car, depending on where you drive in from. We have limited parking, but one of our 8 parking spaces can be booked upon request. By Tram

From Cologne Central Station take the line 16 or the number 18 (both underground) until you reach ‘Neumarkt’.
After disembarking at Neumarkt it will take you around 5 minutes to reach us by foot.

It is also possible to walk to us directly from Cologne Central Station. This would take you around 20 minutes.

By Airplane

From Cologne-Bonn Airport you can reach the main train station within 15 minutes by taking the S-Bahn lines 13 or 19. From there, take the line 16 or 18 (underground) to the stop “Neumarkt”.
From there it’ll be a short 5 minutes walk.

You can also take a taxi from Cologne/Bonn Airport. This would cost around €35, and would take around 25 minutes to reach us.

 

Arriving by Car

From the North:

1. Take the Interchange (A1 / A57) Köln Nord to A57 in the direction of Cologne
2. Exit at Innere Kanalstraße in the direction of Cologne-Zentrum (center)
3. Follow Innere Kanalstraße and after 3 km turn left onto Bachemer Straße
4. From here you keep heading straight, following the road. Bachemer Straße becomes Lindenstrasse, which then becomes Schaafenstraße, until eventually you come to Marsilstein
5. The HOSTEL is now on the right side of the road

From the East:

1. Interchange (A3 / A4). From the A3 you will need to turn onto B55a, but coming from the A4 keep going straight, and the road becomes B55a
2. After 1,5 km take the exit towards Cologne Zentrum (onto Street 17th June)
3. Follow Street 17th June as it becomes Walter-Pauli-Ring (also a street name) for 1 Km into the city center
4. Turn right and drive onto Deutzer Ring (55)
5. Follow this main road for 1.5 km, and cross the Rhine over the Severinsbrücke (Severins bridge)
6. Please note, if you look to the right; beautiful Cologne panorama
7. Keep following this main road on the road until it becomes Perlengraben Street
8. Take the right exit onto Poststaße
9. Turn left at Kleiner Griechenmarkt
10. At the roundabout take the first exit on the right hand side onto Fleichmengergasse
11. Follow this road, going straight at the roundabout (second exit)
12. Turn left onto Lungengasse, and keep heading straight as it becomes Marsilstein
13. The HOSTEL will be on the left side of the street

From the South:

1. Interchange (A4 / A555) to A555 direction Köln-Zentrum
2. After 500m at the roundabout, go straight (2nd exit) onto Bonner Straße
3. After 3 km at the Chlodwigplatz 3rd exit (left) onto Sachsenring
4. After 2 km turn right onto Lindenstraße, which then becomes Schaafenstraße
5. After 300 m you will see the HOSTEL on the right hand side

From the West:

1. Interchange (A1 / A4) Cologne West, on the A4 you will need to turn left or right to head to head north on the A1 in the direction of Dortmund
2. Take the first exit at Cologne Lövenich, onto Aachener Straße
3. Follow Aachener Straße in the direction of Cologne-Center
4. After 5 km turn right onto Moltkestraße
5. After 500 m turn left onto Lindenstraße
6. Now follow this road. It becomes Schaafenstraße, and then Marsilstein
7. The HOSTEL will be on the right side of the street
